Shelby was born and raised into a
very loving, spiritual environment,
and has lived right here in South-
west Florida for the grand majority
of her life thus far. She hails from a
long line of creative minded women
and artists who have supported her every move with love. With a strong
appreciation for our earth, fellow human beings and all animals, she
deeply cherishes her place here at Anahata of Naples, and is forever
thankful for the doors her new found family have helped her open. She
hopes to continue down her path as a mehndi artist, and learn all that
she can about spirituality, love, art, and holistic healing
You can find hand crafted magickal supplies by both Shelby and her
mother, Toni, in our boutique.
Shelby offers Mehndi (Henna) Tattoos by appointment and at special

Mehndi Tatoos: Indulge in the whimsy of a Mehndi Tattoo.
Temporary tattoos done with natural Henna are a fun, painless
way to adorn the body. The soothing paste is applied to the
skin and left to dry for 3-4 hours, once flaked off, the skin is
stained and will last about 1-3 weeks. There is absolutely no
pain involved, in fact Henna is nourishing to the skin. The Hindi
word Mehndi describes the process of painting patterns on the
body with henna paste and the resulting stains left on the skin,
while the word henna is the name of the plant used in creating
the paste. Commonly called Henna tattoos, the correct name is
Mehndi.
